Creative Expression Groups forming:
  • Monday morning Group (9:30-12:00) An active Group that has been meeting weekly for over 20 years. This group has 3 openings.
  • Tuesday afternoon Group ( 3:00-5:30) A new group currently forming.
  • Wednesday morning Group (9-30 -12:00) Anew group currently forming.
  • Wednesday late afternoon Group (4:00-6:30) A new group currently forming.

In our groups we
"Explore Layers of Time....."
Like the sedimentary bed rock of the mountains
the earth and all that surrounds our life, we
are layers of time and layers of possibility.
In art making we can create meaning to our journey
and take an archeological dig to free our spirit and find
treasures that perhaps have been covered by these layers.
The variety of art materials and found objects  available will assist the process of discovery
and moving forward with new possibilities and dreams in you art and in you!.
Explore yours.

Monday Morning Creative Expression Group Dares to paint big!
Splatter, drip..the perfection of it. Surprise ..mix just the right color—it’s like cooking—it’s like the fabric of me exploding on the canvas

As we become adults, creativity - that very thing that comes naturally to us as kids - somehow turns into something we dread.

This transformation often starts in school, where we are given fewer and fewer opportunities to explore our creative side
without being judged or forced to follow certain rules. As a result, we become self-conscious about the act of creating anything and protect ourselves from it by simply saying,

"I'm just not creative."

Well, that's not true. We are all born to create. Everyone can be an "artist" and everyone can  enjoy the freedom, joy and
emotional empowerment that art making can offer.

I have taken several workshops with Linda and each time I show up with fear. Then Linda puts the material choices in front of me, I pause, and the magic flows. I leave the workshop feeling alive, creative and joyful. Linda is a force that all need to spend time with to get to that creative core which we all have.

- Participant of creative classes
With Linda, there is no judgement, no skepticism, no criticism. You are not trying to learn a technique. It's not about what "looks good." It's about what comes out of you. Don't restrain it. It will be a revelation.

- Creative Expression Group participant

These creativity classes are not formal art classes where you learn and perfect techniques.  The students have a wide variety of materials and objects
at their disposal and are invited to take the lead and experiment as they feel.

FOR KIDS
The classes offer a safe, nurturing and fun-filled space where they can explore their ideas without any of the constraints or limitations they often encounter in the outside world - even at school - which inhibit their creativity and need for self-expression.

FOR ADULTS
The classes are an opportunity to be themselves and reflect on their experiences by putting them into an art form, without judgement or expectations.
Even the most reluctant people find the classes liberating and come away with confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

FOR RETIRED PEOPLE
The classes are a way to discover untapped abilities, fight boredom and keep the mind engaged.
An experience that always leaves them refreshed and re-energized.
