I host a number of art related classes and events in my Northbrook, Illinois studio. These are not art classes per say. While I provide the environment and the materials, people take my classes to express themselves rather than learn specific art techniques.

These classes offer benefits such as  relaxation, self-expression, and are used as a vehicle to communicate. They are designed for people with no experience with a paintbrush to those who have studied art. My goal is to provide an environment for people to use art as a form of expression.

The studio is arranged  so that each person can walk around and choose materials as well as find objects that interest them. This could be a smooth stone, a piece of gnarled wood, or a computer part! I have a nature basket full of interesting, dried leaves, branches, pine cones, and dried flowers. There are traditional art materials readily available. I encourage individuals to find materials that they are attracted to. I am available as a creative coach to assist and encourage the process of discovery.
